baby, it's cold outside

My new favorite sweater and angora cloche -
look at that belly grow!

It's finally snowing regularly in this neck of the woods, something I always look forward to. I just wish the white stuff would stay around for longer than a day. I can't wait to build a snowman with Alden - he keeps begging to do it, but we haven't had enough snow yet. We get about an inch in the morning, and the sun melts it into oblivion by the afternoon.

Snowin' 'n' blowin' in the backyard.

With winter and baby cocooning about to begin (we're still going to the playground, but it sure is getting cold!), I've been making a short list of projects to tackle BB (Before Baby). I'm about to deep clean our bedroom in preparation for Bunny. Oh, the excitement! I'm also going to finally get my studio organized. I want to get some sewing done, so this is a must. Thankfully, these tasks follow my restricted activity rules. (I'll be good, Mom. Really.)

I'm also about to get my craft on again. I joined the same ornament swap I did last year, and can't wait to get started on my ornament. Remember last year's fabric star? I'm sticking with the star theme this year, but it will be in a completely different medium. I'm going to try my hand at some wire and bead work! I'll post pics after my swap group receives their ornaments. (I might do some sneak peaks, but don't want to ruin the surprise!)

So, this post is completely lame, but I wanted to write something... Hopefully more entertaining fodder will follow shortly.
