We painted the walls and added our new stained glass light to the dining room last week. The woodwork needs to be stripped (or replaced), and then this room will be temporarily done.

You can see the awesome chalkboard in this pic. I can't wait to strip off all that white paint!

Sorry for the no-show for the past two days. The stomach mess hit me hard on Tuesday night, and I had to catch up on sleep last night. Anyway, on with the show:

This stripey rug now greets visitors at our door thanks to my mom. It's one of my favorite gifts from this year, and it finally makes me relax about the bright orange paint in our entry hall. It's all bright now!

For those who want to know, this delicious slice of colorful underfoot goodness comes from the Ty Pennington collection at Sears, but I do believe it's a clearance item.
