Okay, I know Memorial Day weekend has come and gone, but we had such a great time, I thought I would share some pics.


Saturday I spent 5 hours in the garden. It's a third planted, and I hope to finish the vegetables this week.


Sunday we went over to Dan and Krista's for a BBQ. We got to catch up with our friends from Missouri, and Alden had a chance to ride the "tractor."

Monday we went car shopping, and then hit the beach. Alden loves the swings in particular.


Alden also loves throwing stones into the lake. We've been going to one particular playground that's right on the waterfront. He dips his toes in the water no matter what the weather.


It was a busy, lovely weekend. I think we've finally recovered from a whirlwind of activity this month, so normal posting will resume this week.
