10. Any project will take much, much longer than you can ever imagine, and there's no real way to guess how long things will take if you have never done anything like it before. So, it's best to just jump in, keep on bustin' ass and stop worrying about how long it's taking, already!

Case in point: I am not done painting. I have coated everything in the room with primer (including the ceiling!), and started on the trim today. That leaves me needing to do another coat of paint on the ceiling, the rest of the trim and two coats of paint.

I'm not feeling well (I feel exhausted, actually), so I'm not going to make any more predictions on when I'll finish. So there.
