Today I received a summons for jury duty in the mail. My term runs for the whole month of December, and all I can say is, "This sucks." I'll need to set up child care for Alden, and I'll need to pump so he has bottles. I also won't be able to watch Finn. Grrrrr!

My first day to report is December 2. I am not pleased, and am wondering if there is any way to get out of this. Why couldn't they have summoned me before I had a kid? Then I could have had a day off work, and not had to deal with the hassle this will be.

Ugh!
