I had a doctor's appointment on Friday, and noticed bunches of daffodils everywhere I went. Their yellow goodness tempted me in the waiting room, at the bank, in great big bunches for sale at the grocery store. But I resisted them all. I resisted because I know that my yellow daffies will pop awake from their winter slumber in just a few short weeks. I know this because I saw their green tips poking through the ground yesterday. So, I will wait.
