We wandered out into the freshly fallen snow on Sunday afternoon to find our Christmas tree.

After a quick, slippery jaunt into Farmer Lee's Woods, we found a lovely little Balsam to call our own. AJ picked out several Charlie Brown trees before we spotted a fullish one (Remember our tree from last year? This is a little fuller than that, but still "open" and "airy"...lol).

Alden had a blast in the snow, running and flopping as quickly as he could. He kept losing his mittens, so he finally gave them to me. Boy, were his hands cold!

On the way home, Alden ate part of a candy cane Santa had given him the day before. The peppermint smell mingling with the Balsam scent was pure Christmas!
