a new direction
I've decided to organize my blogging into categories by day of the week. This way you'll be able to anticipate what I'll be talking about on any given day (when I post, that is - I don't think I'll be doing it everday). Plus, it will encourage me to write, draw, sew and take more pictures.
Here's the list as it stands:
sketchbook Mondays: I'll scan a page from my sketchbook so you can peek at what I'm working on.
around town Tuesdays: I'll post a picture of something from my travelings in the area where I live - it might be of an event, a building, a scene ... whatever catches my eye.
random Wednesdays: I'll post something about something ... whatever is on my mind.
around the house Thursdays: I'll reveal a little bit of the place we call home.
project Fridays: There is a large group of bloggers who show their work-in-progress on Friday. I'll do both WIPs and completed projects.
I also want to start participating in some of the group blogging that's out there right now (poetry thursday, illustration friday, self-portrait tuesday). I'm sure this will be done on a whim.
My end goal with this whole blogging thing is to just dive in and get creating now that I quit my job. (See how I slipped that in at the very end of this? I was going to post about it, but I've decided to just let you know I'll be done working at The Daily Press (again) in a few weeks.)
Oh, and one last thing, I'll add a link to my posts on tag sale tales, so you can go read 'em.
Now to get creating ...
