This is the piece I created for the Bay Days Art Show. I didn't hang it because we didn't have any space left with all the entries we had this year. So, this is the first time I've gone public with it.

I was inspired by the tree of life design and the geometric rug patterns of India. This is acrylic paint, beads and trim on an old cutting board.

After seeing this, Joy asked me to design a cattail-shaped tattoo with a similar look. It's still in the development stages, but I'll post a pic when she gets it done!
