So, the Van Beest family is up to its eyeballs in sickness this week. I've been sick since Monday morning, and AJ has been the same since Monday evening.

It seems the stomach flu has descended upon our household, and we hope it will leave before it hits the little guy. That said, I am prepared for what I need to do if Alden does come down with this mess.

Unfortunately, our illness has kept me from watching Finn this week. Although I may feel better tomorrow, I'm not sure if AJ (or Alden) will. This means a third day with no Finn. However, it's better than getting their family sick, too. Thankfully, Joy has said it's not too much of an inconvenience. Thank goodness for understanding people!

Through all the nausea and lack of eating, I still have managed to do laundry, pay some bills, wash some dishes, and do a little cleaning. I guess this bug can't keep an ambitious woman down...
