Ever since we bought the schoolhouse, AJ and I have talked about putting up a website to chronicle our little slice of er...remodeling heaven. Back when we bought the place 3 years ago, I took pictures of everything with this intention fully in mind. When we received our new refrigerator in May, I found the film canisters with these pics in the old fridge, and will be sending them in for developing as soon as I wander back into town (hey, we've been busy!).

I've found a great community of house bloggers, and hope to join them in their adventures in remodeling. So, consider this fair warning. You will soon see a new blog and flickr account with all the wonderful horror stories we can tell about this here place we call home.

Oh, and in anticipation of finally creating this blog, I am taking a poll. Should we name it:
A) School of Hard Knocks (um...it's a schoolhouse, get it?)
B) Chateau Van Beest (our sometimes nickname for this place)
C) Agnew School (the "official" name of our little one room schoolhouse)
