Our friends, Bob & Kelly, had their baby yesterday afternoon! Alden now has a little playmate -- Dallas Solen Cornett born on January 27, 2005 at 4:52 p.m. weighing in at 8 lbs. 1 oz. and measuring 19.5 inches. I'm so excited for them, and look forward to the many playdates our boys will have together.

It's wonderful being a mom. It grows on me more each day. Although I have had a few bad days, the great days far outweigh them.

On the job front, AJ landed a new gig as a computer lackey for Bayfield County. He'll be working under the supervision of his friend Dag Bystrom. They get along famously, so this might finally be a long-term deal for AJ.

Well, I must make this post brief so I can get back to Mommy duties. I'm off (like a prom dress)!
