I just created a new blog, and am feeling pretty giddy about it. I plan to make artcentric a major part of my "new me" plan. I feel a hole in my creative life, and have always thought it would be great to help other artists make their lives better -- be it by making more money, learning a new technique, or just plain creating more work.

So, the idea for artcentric popped into my head last month while I was thinking about what I want to do with my life. It doesn't have anything on it right now, but I have a huge list of things I want to add when I have the time. I think I'm going to start with the resource listings. Then, I'll add some articles (I have a huge list of ideas). Hopefully, I can generate enough traffic to make the blog worthy of Google's adsense (it might not be a lot of money, but it would help cover my time).

Eventually, I might turn to artist publicity full time. I'm thinking it might be what I'm most interested in. I could write press releases, create press kits, design CD covers, create tradeshow booths, etc.

I actually think I've finally found my niche (at least one of them). Wahoo!
