five months: chunky monkey
Feast your eyes on His Royal Nominess (and his loyal brother and mommy):

off the beach immediately after this pic was taken.
We had his 4-month check-up a few weeks ago, and the doctor was so surprised at how big he's gotten that she stopped short when she came into the room. Elliot weighed in at 19 lbs. 8 oz. and measured 26 1/2 inches long. That's off the charts and the 95th percentile! He's also in 6-9 month clothes, but that doesn't look like it will last long.
Elliot has been having a milestone-filled month, too. He had is first taste of rice cereal, and loves it! (Have you ever tasted that goo? It tastes like warmed-up, watered-down cardboard.) He started grabbing objects AND manipulating them. (Amazingly, he can pass objects hand-to-hand and turn the pages of books.) He also rolls half-way over from back to front. (This is backwards from how other babies usually start rolling over. The doc said he probably won't make it all the way over for a little while because of all his pudge.)
These boys keep me busy, so blogging will be light for the foreseeable future. I'll try to get some images up on Flickr for your enjoyment, though. =)
