A massive winter storm (blizzard?) is heading this way. Fortunately, Elliot and I leave this afternoon for a trip to Chicagoland. Why?

Krista and I are going to the International Quilt Festival. Since we are leaving early to beat the snow, we have an extra day to view all the fabric beauties. We'll get in tonight. Tomorrow, we head over to the convention center, where 500 quilters, crafters and artists will display their goods.

I will not miss the snow, and even hope to see a little spring down south! I'll post a full report when we get back.
