get 'er done

I'm going to ease back into blogging again. I miss the brain-unloading that happens here, and really need to have some external motivation (hint! hint!) for some BIG THINGS that I'm working on now. So, here's my short to-do list for y'all:

1) Complete at least one art piece for the Bay Days Art Show (I'm the coordinator, so I think I should have something in it.)

2) Layout second entry way flower bed (I have the first one in, and am working on filling it. The second one awaits a load of composted manure and my spade.)

3) Scrape, sand and paint my new studio storage cabinet (This one will require oodles of time. Perhaps I can jump on it this weekend when Grandma and Grandpa Van Beest are here.)

4) Clean up my studio (This depends on the completion of #3.)

5) Start my art/farm Web site (I have the domain name and an almost-logo. I need to finish the logo, create a design and write a wee-bit of start-up content.)

Yikes! This should keep me busy. So, how about y'all? What are you doing with your time, and how are you staying motivated?
