We just got home after a long day of visiting to find a message on our voice mail saying the guy selling the land we want has made a counter offer. The counter offer can be one of two things: the same land for more money or less land for the same amount of money.

Either way, I just don't think we can do anything about it now. We really can't afford more than the price we offered. I'd be interested in less land (less to take care of), but not at $2100 per acre (our farmer friend confirmed that this price is unreasonable).

Well, we'll find out exactly what's in the counter offer tomorrow morning. Until then, I'm going to bed perchance to dream of a small plot on which to sow some veggies. Good night!
